May 25-26 2024. 50 Years of Aikido! Welcome to our annual Bath Aikido Meet in the fantastic dojo at the University of Bath in beautiful Somerset, U.K. Join us for a weekend of Traditional Iwama Takemusu Aikido with weapons bokken and jo. Study the basics of Aiki; internals, technique and flow.
Bjorn Sensei, 5 dan Aikikai, began training Iwama Aikido in Stockholm in 1974 for Takeji Tomita Sensei and then later for Morihiro Saito Sensei in Japan for two and a half years between 1987-1993.
Also, we welcome an undisclosed special guest teacher appearance.
Saturday 11:00-17:00 in the University of Bath Sporting Village.
Sunday: 10:00-16:00 in the Wells Blue Sports Centre.
